Veterinary Transport Volunteer — veterinary transport

You help make medical care possible and predictable.

What you actually do

  • Take animals to veterinary appointments or support Margo on the trips
  • Load carriers safely and handle the animals calmly
  • Accompany appointments and handle handovers cleanly
  • Give brief, clear feedback after the appointment

Why this helps Margo & the animals

A missed veterinary appointment can delay treatment by weeks. Your reliability makes medical care predictable – and takes trips off Margo that would otherwise fall to her.

What you take away personally

Responsibility in real situations, calm routine in handling stressed animals – and the good feeling that an animal received treatment because of you.

What you learn professionally

  • Appointment logistics and handovers
  • Safe animal transport
  • How medical process chains work in animal welfare

Who this suits

Reliable people with a car or a lift, who stay calm and are punctual. No prior medical knowledge required.

What this role is not

No diagnoses · no treatment recommendations · no approving costs without consultation · no medical decisions – those are always made by the vet together with Margo.

Your first small mission

Accompany one veterinary trip from pick-up to return and then write the feedback: which cat, what the vet found, what the next step is.
