Farm Support Volunteer — grounds, order & a safe environment

You turn a strained place into a safer, clearer environment for animals and helpers.

What you actually do

  • Gardening, tidying and cleaning
  • Small repairs by arrangement
  • Sort materials and organise storage areas
  • Create safe areas for animals and helpers

Why this helps Margo & the animals

Order here is not cosmetic: a clear, safe place means less risk of injury, faster processes and less constant stress. Every assignment leaves a visible result.

What you take away personally

Work with your hands instead of at a screen – and at the end of the day you see what you have achieved. Honest, physical, practical help with immediately visible effect.

What you learn professionally

  • Material organisation and storage logic
  • Safety thinking in busy environments
  • Practical project work: plan, implement, complete

Who this suits

Practically minded people who like getting stuck in – once for a project day or regularly. Manual experience is a plus, not a must.

What this role is not

No dangerous work without prior agreement · no structural changes without approval · no work on electricity, water or hazardous installations without a qualified person.

Your first small mission

Half a project day: tidy an agreed area, sort materials and take a before-and-after photo for the internal records.
