Farm Care Volunteer — care, nursing & medication

You help where animals need daily stability, care and attention.

What you actually do

  • Support the daily care on the farm
  • Take on care tasks: food, water, clean spaces
  • Administer medication following clear instructions
  • Document observations briefly – small changes matter

Why this helps Margo & the animals

An estimated several dozen animals live on the farm and need daily care. Small, reliable routines create great security – for the animals and for Margo, who cannot be everywhere at once.

What you take away personally

Real closeness to animals who learn to trust. The experience that careful nursing is a responsible, dignified task – not a side job.

What you learn professionally

  • Care protocols and hygiene
  • Systematic animal observation
  • Clean documentation of care and medication

Who this suits

People with calm, care and commitment who can come regularly. Experience with animals helps; reliability matters more.

What this role is not

Medication only following clear instructions · no independent medical decisions · no experiments · no publishing of sensitive photos without approval.

Your first small mission

Take on the food and water round for one fixed area on two occasions – and note three observations about the animals there each time.
