Her story
Found in the Metaxourgio district
As a small kitten – barely two months old – Metaxi sat alone in front of a hotel in the Athens district of Metaxourgio.
Nobody nearby was looking for her. Margo took her along.
Even in that first moment she snuggled up – as if she had only been waiting to trust someone.
Her name recalls the place where her story began. Today she is a calm, loving cat.

The Margo Animal Care Initiative introduces Metaxi and her story. Application, vetting and rehoming are handled by Murka-Katzenhilfe e. V.
Rehoming is into a loving indoor home or a home with secured outdoor access. In a suitably safe environment, outdoor access can also be made possible.
All questions about the process, the adoption fee, the home check and the handover are answered by the association.
