What Findus is like
What we describe here is based on observations from his everyday life – not on guarantees.
Calm and observant
Findus is not a cat who demands attention loudly. He prefers to observe – calmly, attentively, at his own pace.
Closeness on his own terms
When you approach him and he has gained trust, he visibly enjoys physical closeness. His affection is quiet – but clear.
Peaceful with other cats
According to observation, Findus lives peacefully alongside other cats. He does not actively seek their company, but avoids all conflict.
Experience with small dogs
With small dogs, Findus has so far remained easy-going and calm. The final assessment is made individually.
His own pace at mealtimes
Findus prefers to eat in peace and without crowding. Giving him a little space suits his nature.
Retreat is part of it
Findus needs places of his own to retreat to, undisturbed. That is not a sign of shyness – but of character.
His story
Found, taken in, arrived
Findus was found alone and taken in. From the start he was not a cat who pushed himself loudly to the front.
He settled in, calmly and at his own pace. He accepted the other cats around him but sought a place of his own.
What Findus is today he has worked out for himself: a calm, friendly cat who knows what is good for him – and shows it, if you let him.

Not a list of requirements – rather a description of where Findus flourishes, according to our observations.
A calm atmosphere
A home without constant bustle, where his calm nature has room – and where he is not pushed into contact he does not want at that moment.
Places of her own to retreat to
Places that belong to him alone, where he stays undisturbed when he needs to.
Secured balcony welcome
A balcony or terrace would be lovely – made cat-safe so he can enjoy fresh air and the world outside.
Other cats possible
Living with other cats seems conceivable, according to observation, if the pace is right. The specific assessment is made during the rehoming process.
Small dogs possible
Findus has so far reacted calmly to small dogs. Whether a shared household works is assessed individually.
Indoor home or secured outdoor access
The way of keeping is decided together with Murka-Katzenhilfe e. V. – suited to Findus and to the actual living situation.

The Margo Animal Care Initiative introduces Findus and his story. Application, vetting and rehoming are handled by Murka-Katzenhilfe e. V.
Rehoming is into a loving indoor home or a home with secured outdoor access. In a suitably safe environment, outdoor access can also be made possible.
All questions about the process, the adoption fee, the home check and the handover are answered by the association.
